Marriage is a covenant by which a man and woman establish a partnership for their entire life. A loving union of husband and wife signifies family values and God's values. Having said that, the participation of the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church has requirements.
*Couples must contact their priest one year in advance of their wedding date. This is a standard rule throughout the Diocese.
*Pre cana is also required prior to marriage.
*In order to be married at Our Lady of Good Counsel, at least one within the couple must be a practicing Catholic and a member of our church.
